Following a successful $25 million Series C funding round, Zeno Health has launched a 50-minute medicine delivery service in Mumbai. The healthtech startup, formerly known as Generico, operates over 180 retail pharmacy stores across Maharashtra and leverages its extensive network along with tech-driven logistics to ensure swift prescription medicine deliveries.

Customers can place orders via the mobile app, in-store, or over the phone, with no minimum order value or delivery fee. According to co-founder Girish Agarwal, the initiative aims to enhance patient care by ensuring real-time stock availability and quick dispatch. The service is designed to improve accessibility, affordability, and trust in the healthcare ecosystem.

Founded in 2017 by IIT Bombay alumni Girish Agarwal and Siddharth Gadia, Zeno Health focuses on generic medicines, offering prices up to 60% lower through direct sourcing from manufacturers. In addition to its retail presence, it operates 200 micro-franchises across Maharashtra and West Bengal, serving over 1.5 million customers to date. The startup also owns GoodAid, a private-label brand for generic medicines.

Zeno Health plans to utilize its latest funding to expand its operations and enhance its technology. Competing with major online pharmacy platforms like Tata 1mg, PharmEasy, and Flipkart Health+, the startup’s entry into quick commerce aligns with the growing trend of rapid medicine deliveries in India.
