Discover Stryker’s APAISER X1—an ICU mattress designed to reduce pressure injuries and support caregivers with smart, quiet, and reliable features.

Stryker has officially introduced its latest innovation, the APAISER X1 ICU air mattress, during ANEiCON 2025, the annual conference of the Association of Nurse Executives (ANEi) India, held in Kochi. Developed specifically for the Indian healthcare landscape, the APAISER X1 aims to improve patient comfort and support caregivers in intensive care units.

This advanced mattress integrates with Stryker’s SmartMedic platform and is engineered to minimize pressure injuries while enhancing efficiency in critical care environments. According to Arvind Srinivas, Business Unit Director, Medical, the need for improved patient outcomes and caregiver support calls for innovative solutions designed to meet region-specific demands.

Key innovations of the APAISER X1 include independent low-air loss technology, a 3-in-1 TrueCare alternating pressure system, and three adaptable care modes—Alternate, Static, and Constant Low Pressure. It also features auto fowler detection, a low-noise pump ideal for sensitive environments, and a transportation cap that maintains mattress pressure without power, ensuring uninterrupted care during transfers or outages.

The APAISER X1 represents a significant step forward in patient care, offering both comfort and operational efficiency, and marks Stryker’s commitment to delivering localized, technology-driven healthcare solutions.
