Rainbow Children’s Hospital and BirthRight celebrated the unveiling of their third hospital in Chennai with an open house event at the newly established facility in Anna Nagar. Attended by doctors, well-wishers, patients, young parents, and families, the event provided an opportunity for attendees to tour the 80-bed facility, which is set to commence operations in the first week of March.

The new hospital in Anna Nagar represents a significant addition to Rainbow Children’s Hospital group, marking its 19th facility. Dr Ramesh Kancharla, Chairman and Managing Director of Rainbow Children’s Hospital, expressed his enthusiasm for expanding healthcare services in Chennai, emphasizing the group's commitment to providing comprehensive pediatric and obstetrics services, including 24X7 consultant-led emergency care.

The Anna Nagar hospital will complement Rainbow's existing facilities in Guindy and Sholinganallur, enhancing coverage and accessibility for residents. BirthRight at the Anna Nagar location will also offer fertility care, aligning with the hospital group's holistic healthcare approach.

Dr Sarbananda Sonowal, the Minister for Ayush and Minister for Ports, Shipping, and Waterways, emphasized India's global role in promoting traditional medicine. Rainbow Children’s Hospital aims to make premium healthcare accessible to a wider population, positively impacting families through its commitment to quality and comprehensive healthcare services.
