Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital in Mumbai has launched the Institute for Advanced Orthopaedics, Spine & Joint Care, bringing together a multidisciplinary team with over 200 years of collective experience and more than 40,000 surgeries. The institute offers integrated care for both adult and paediatric musculoskeletal conditions.

Inaugurated by actor Paresh Rawal and former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin, alongside Dr Vivek Talaulikar of Max Healthcare, the institute features orthopaedic surgeons, spine experts, musculoskeletal oncologists, sports medicine professionals, trauma consultants, and physiotherapists. It offers a wide range of services, including diagnostics, robotic surgeries, and post-operative rehabilitation.

Key highlights include one of Maharashtra’s first in-hospital 3D-printing labs for developing bone models and surgical guides, enhancing surgical precision in complex procedures. Robotics-guided navigation and minimally invasive techniques are employed to ensure faster recovery and reduced complications.

The facility is equipped with round-the-clock imaging, diagnostic labs, and a dedicated blood bank. The institute’s services also extend into the community, promoting awareness on posture, ergonomics, and sports injury prevention. It partners with major sports teams for injury management.

Specialised departments handle trauma care, robotic-assisted joint replacements, spine surgery (including MISS), sports medicine, arthroscopy, and orthopaedic oncology. Recognised by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, the institute also runs advanced pain management and personalised rehab programs, supported by certified ICU staff.

With this launch, Nanavati Max aims to become a hub for comprehensive, precision-driven orthopaedic care for patients across India and beyond.
