Merck Life Science has inaugurated its Formulation & Technology Centre in Turbhe, Navi Mumbai, as a key addition to its global R&D network. This state-of-the-art facility will serve as a hub for industry collaboration, equipping pharmaceutical companies with advanced tools to enhance drug formulation and accelerate time-to-market across India, APAC, the Middle East, and Africa.

More than just a lab, the centre functions as a technology storefront, offering cutting-edge formulation and processing solutions to address the rising demand for complex drug formulations. It bridges the gap between research and commercial production, helping pharmaceutical manufacturers navigate patent challenges and optimize their product pipelines. Customers will have access to hands-on training, expert consulting, and customized solutions for formulation development, production scaling, and troubleshooting.

The launch event was attended virtually by Dr. Jitendra Kumar of BIRAC and Archana Jatkar of the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance, alongside key dignitaries from the Indo-German business and pharmaceutical sectors.
