Medanta, a renowned multi-speciality tertiary care provider in North and East India, is expanding its footprint into the Northeast by setting up a state-of-the-art super-speciality hospital in Guwahati. The company’s Board of Directors has approved the acquisition of 3 acres of land from the Assam Electricity Grid Corporation at a cost of ₹30 crore, in addition to registration and possession-related expenses.
The total investment for this ambitious project is estimated at ₹500 crore, which includes the cost of land. The planned 400-bed facility will be strategically located on National Highway 27, ensuring excellent connectivity across Assam and the broader Northeast region.
