Marengo Asia Hospitals, India, and Intermed Hospital, Mongolia, have entered into a multi-year agreement to establish a Center of Excellence (CoE) for cardiac care sciences in Mongolia. This partnership signifies a significant milestone for both institutions. Marengo Asia Hospitals, with its established concept of "Clinical Corridors" fostering international healthcare partnerships, will play a crucial role in setting up the CoE. Intermed Hospital, the only JCI-accredited facility in Mongolia, is currently undergoing an expansion project to meet the growing patient demand, making it an ideal host for this specialized center.
Under the agreement, Marengo Asia Hospitals will conduct a thorough assessment of Intermed Hospital's existing cardiac care infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement. This includes providing training programs, facilitating manpower allocation, and assisting with equipment procurement. Marengo Asia Hospitals will share its expertise in developing protocols for various cardiac conditions, ensuring adherence to international quality standards.
The collaboration extends beyond the establishment of the center, encompassing ongoing support. Marengo Asia Hospitals will offer continuous training for Intermed Hospital's clinical teams, monitor adherence to quality protocols, and organize workshops to facilitate knowledge sharing.
