KIMS Hospitals celebrates 25 years with a new 300-bed multispecialty hospital in Thane, offering cutting-edge care across 50+ specialties.

To commemorate its 25th anniversary, Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Hospitals has launched a new 300-bed multispecialty hospital in Thane, Mumbai. This marks a strategic move into the western region of India and reflects the group’s commitment to expanding its healthcare footprint.
Situated in Hiranandani Estate along Ghodbundar Road, the Thane facility is set to offer tertiary and quaternary care across more than 50 specialties, catering to the healthcare needs of patients in and around Mumbai.
Dr. B. Bhaskar Rao, Chairman and Managing Director of KIMS Hospitals, expressed pride in the milestone, highlighting the Thane hospital as a significant step in delivering advanced medical services to Maharashtra.
The hospital is equipped with cutting-edge medical technology, including the Da Vinci XI Robotic Surgery System, Orthopaedic Joint Replacement Robot, 128-Slice CT Scanner, 3 Tesla MRI, Versa HD Radiotherapy, and Flexitron Brachytherapy. It also features PET-CT and a nuclear medicine unit, along with a dedicated Organ Transplant Program for complex surgeries.
Key departments include Cardiac Sciences, Oncology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Renal Sciences, Orthopaedics, Spine Surgery, Emergency, and Critical Care. The hospital will also house NICU and PICU units for pediatric and neonatal care, as well as specialized services for high-risk pregnancies, pediatric neurology, robotic urology, and deep brain stimulation.
