Twin Health, an AI health company operating within IIT Madras Research Park (IITMRP), has garnered attention with its groundbreaking 'Whole Body Digital Twin' technology, demonstrating promising results in reversing chronic metabolic diseases like Type 2 Diabetes without medication.

According to a report released by IITMRP, Twin Health's innovative treatment program has shown remarkable effectiveness in combating insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome, prevalent among 25 percent of India's urban population.

Key outcomes highlighted in the report include:

90 percent of patients achieving normal blood sugar levels within three months.

73 percent experiencing Type 2 Diabetes remission after one year.

Over 50 percent reduction in the risk of cardiovascular events.

50 percent attaining normal blood pressure within three months.

Successful dietary shifts, with patients transitioning from red/orange food to green food.

The report's unveiling coincided with a panel discussion titled 'Application of AI technology in treatment of Chronic Diseases.' Notable panelists included Prof. Mohanasankar Sivaprakasam, Padma Shri Dr. Shashank R Joshi, Dr. S Prakash, Prof. Gaurav Raina, and moderated by Raghavendran J Dr. Maluk Mohamed.
