Everhope Oncology secures ₹85 Crore to establish cancer care centers in India, aiming to improve access to chemotherapy, surgery, and palliative care.

Everhope Oncology, a joint venture between Narayana Health, W Health Ventures, and 2070 Health, has raised ₹85 Crore in seed funding to establish advanced cancer care facilities in Delhi and Mumbai, with plans to expand to 10 cities over the next three years. These centers will offer diagnosis, treatment, and supportive care, including chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, and palliative care.
India faces a growing cancer burden, with 8 million patients currently affected and projections indicating one in nine individuals will develop the disease. The country’s healthcare system struggles to meet this demand, requiring 40,000 additional chemotherapy and surgical beds. The oncologist-to-patient ratio remains low, leading to increased consultation times, patient distress, and physician burnout. Additionally, cancer stigma delays early diagnosis, with over 60% of cases detected at advanced stages, worsening mortality rates.
Everhope Oncology aims to bridge this gap by establishing dedicated chemotherapy and surgical centers that provide personalized care with reduced wait times. A team of experienced oncologists will implement globally validated treatment protocols, ensuring standardized outcomes. Patients will also have access to mental health support, nutritional guidance, and pain management services, along with a 24/7 care concierge.
The initiative seeks to redefine cancer treatment by offering comfortable, crowd-free spaces close to patients' homes, allowing them to continue daily activities while receiving high-quality care.
