CLIRNET and AAPI collaborate to introduce a Mentorship & Observership program, fostering global expertise exchange and enhancing healthcare standards in India.

In a significant stride towards enhancing medical education and global cooperation, CLIRNET has joined forces with the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) to introduce a Mentorship & Observership program.

The announcement unfolded at the 17th Global Healthcare Summit, themed ‘Cutting Edge in Healthcare & Artificial Intelligence,’ hosted in collaboration with the Global Association of Indian Medical Students and AIIMS, Delhi.

The Mentorship & Observership Model aims to channel expertise from AAPI medical experts in the USA to nurture and guide young healthcare professionals in India. This initiative seeks to enrich career development, professional satisfaction, and the overall well-being of emerging talents in the field.

The program will facilitate Indian doctors' applications for observerships with AAPI physicians across diverse medical specialties in the USA. Interactive sessions, webinars, and forums led by experienced AAPI physicians will foster collaborative learning and clinical knowledge exchange.

Dr. Anjana Samadder, President of AAPI, stressed the importance of staying abreast of innovation in healthcare and lauded the collaboration's role in advancing clinical training in India during her keynote address at the summit.
Saurav Kasera, Co-Founder of CLIRNET, highlighted the partnership's significance, stating, “This collaboration aims to equip Indian healthcare professionals with global expertise, ultimately raising patient care and medical standards in India.”

The Mentorship & Observership Model signals a transformative phase in clinical education, envisioned to positively impact healthcare practitioners across India, even in remote areas. It aims to instill a culture of continuous learning and innovation in the healthcare sector, contributing to shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.
