SPARSH Hospital launches a 300-bed quaternary care facility in Hennur, bringing advanced tech, global expertise, and specialised services to Bengaluru’s growing healthcare landscape.

Bengaluru continues to grow as a key player in global healthcare with the launch of SPARSH Group’s new 300-bed quaternary care hospital on Hennur Road. The inauguration was attended by top government officials, healthcare leaders, and community figures, highlighting the city's expanding medical tourism footprint.
Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao opened the facility, stressing the need for high-quality healthcare infrastructure across Karnataka. He emphasized that future-ready technologies like robotics and AI are becoming accessible in both public and private hospitals, improving patient outcomes and public health delivery.
Dr. Sharan Prakash Patil, Karnataka’s Minister for Medical Education, underlined Bengaluru’s growing appeal among international patients, citing the city’s strong medical expertise and technological ecosystem. He also noted Karnataka’s lead in medical education, with the highest number of medical seats in India and significant investment in specialised healthcare infrastructure.
Dr. Sharan Shivaraj Patil, Chairman of SPARSH Group, shared that personal experiences during his father's cancer treatment inspired the creation of the Hennur facility. The hospital marks SPARSH’s first major step into cancer care, aiming to make advanced treatment more accessible.
The hospital offers services in orthopaedics, neurosciences, cardiology, oncology, organ transplants, and maternal and child health. It features robotic surgeries, AI diagnostics, 3D printing, and real-time analytics. Additionally, it is expected to create over 2,500 jobs and boost medical research and education in the region. SPARSH aims to expand to nine hospitals with 1,700+ beds by 2025.
