Ampath launches a new pathology lab in Pathankot with advanced diagnostics, improving access to high-quality healthcare services in Punjab.

Ampath, in collaboration with Star Path Lab, has expanded its presence in Punjab by launching a new pathology laboratory in Pathankot. Inaugurated on March 23, 2025, by Ashwani Sharma, MLA, Pathankot, the facility is strategically located on Dalhousie Road, opposite Shani Dev Mandir.

Equipped with cutting-edge diagnostic technology, the lab offers over 2,500 tests, including Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology, Microbiology, Molecular Diagnosis, Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), and Cytogenetics. This comprehensive range ensures accurate and timely results, enhancing healthcare accessibility in the region.

Harish Trivedi, CEO of CTSI – South Asia, emphasized Ampath’s commitment to delivering high-quality diagnostic services. He highlighted that this collaboration with Star Path Lab strengthens healthcare infrastructure, ensuring better diagnostic accuracy and improved patient outcomes in Punjab.

Dr. Maneesh Bagai, COO of Ampath Labs, underscored the growing need for timely and precise diagnostics, stating that this expansion aligns with Ampath’s vision of bringing state-of-the-art pathology services closer to communities.

With a Central Reference Laboratory in Hyderabad and 22 satellite labs, Ampath continues its nationwide expansion, aiming to establish more laboratories and collection centers across India to improve diagnostic access and healthcare outcomes.
