Aerogen launches its India HQ in Delhi, expanding access to advanced aerosol drug delivery solutions for improved respiratory care.

Aerogen, a leading provider of aerosol drug delivery solutions, has established its India headquarters in Delhi, marking a significant step in expanding its presence in the region. The office was inaugurated by Ireland’s Minister for Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, James Lawless, during his visit on St. Patrick’s Day.

With over 55 million people in India affected by COPD and a growing burden of respiratory diseases, Aerogen’s vibrating mesh nebuliser technology aims to enhance respiratory care by improving drug delivery efficiency. Already widely used in Europe and the USA, this technology is expected to support Indian healthcare providers in delivering advanced patient care.

The India headquarters will serve as an operational hub, starting with 14 employees and expanding to 30 members within five years. The team includes specialists in marketing, sales, and clinical expertise, working to promote aerosol drug delivery adoption across India and Sri Lanka.

Aerogen’s expansion aligns with Enterprise Ireland’s mission to foster international medtech collaboration. Ross Curran, Director – India & South Asia at Enterprise Ireland, highlighted the deepening economic ties between Ireland and India, emphasizing Aerogen’s role in strengthening global respiratory care solutions.

Through strategic partnerships, research investments, and training programs, Aerogen aims to enhance healthcare infrastructure and improve respiratory treatment outcomes across the APAC region.
